IOMP received a very sad news from the Association of Medical Physicists in Russia (AMPR) that the President of AMPR Prof. Valeriy Kostylev has passed away after long illness (12.02.1943 – 28.02.2017). Prof. Kostylev was a prominent figure of medical physics in Russia. He helped a lot the development of the profession in the country, organized a number of National and Euroasian Congresses in medical physics, was Editor-in Chief of the Journal “Meditsinskaya Fizika” and took part in many professional projects – http://www.amphr.ru/e_kost.php
